I used Barry Ely Sports Cars for over ten years. Barry repaired and serviced my Lotus Elan MK2 (M100) during this time with excellent results. I found Barry honest in his assessment of any unforeseen maintenance issues and pragmatic in dealing with mundane service problems. I absolutely trust his judgement, Barry always charged me a fair price for the work undertaken. I now live over 250 miles away otherwise I would continue to use his services.

Knows his stuff no doubt, however sadly I found him very difficult and hard to deal with when work he had done went wrong. Uncompromising and unwilling to accept responsibility for issues with the work, which is sad as my initial experience was positive, with my twin cam running very well after an initial major service. My second and third experience with him were not so. I would not use him again and would not recommend anyone to do so. He will not stand by his work, will be condescending, rude and difficult. I would research a little, i am not alone in this view point.
