Bought a car from Thorp Motors this weekend, there was a couple of things that needed fixing before it was ready (mot, chipped paintwork on the door handle). I was also told that it would be serviced before I collected the car. The service did not happen, and the garage is now adamant that they did not offer one (this is not true and I have a witness to prove it).
The paint on the handle was coloured in in a colour which doesn't match the rest of the car, it looks like a 5 year old has done the work. The mot was carried out as promised. When calling the garage to say about the bad paint work they said that hyundai does not create this colour anymore (after talking to hyundai this is not true, and they were happy to offer a complete touch up) - another lie from Thorp Motors.
The man on the phone was very rude and could not think of a solution to the bad job, he offered to take the car back for a refund which is not a solution! All in all very unimpressed and would not recommend this garage to anyone.
