Great place with helpful staff.

One of the best garages i have ever dealt with. My car had some issues i wanted diagnosing, I dropped the car Wednesday and they had a look Thursday as the issue only occurs on a cold start. They managed to find 2 faults and advised about another potential one. I picked the car up Thursday and was shocked when they said free of charge! Very honest people with an extensive amount of knowledge and fair prices. Once the bank holiday is over I will look to get my car booked in and sort the problems.

Professional, friendly and thorough: JH looks after my car and helps me navigate the path towards making perfect.

So I have just recently found John Hayes and used them on the car. I must say there helpfulness and expertise is second to none.
Quick to get the car in and sorted out as well as no pressure for upselling anything just fax about possible problems moving forward.
David there and the team were outstanding.
I could not recommend them enough.

John Haynes have been looking after my S Class for the past 5 years. Apart from regular servicing, theyve also attended to a range of non routine conundrums on the car some of which were particularly unusual.
Without hesitation, I would thoroughly recommend them. Compared to many years of impersonal, conveyor belt and often rude experiences from main dealerships, John Haynes is as far removed from this as you can get.
The customer service from David is polite and professional whilst projected costs and timescales are always outlined up front. In the event of a short wait at reception, theres a modest but superb collection of older Mercedes models to admire too!

Excellent service through out great experience from start to finish.

Had a very strange issue with my Son's SLK 230k 1998. They diagnosed the issue and resolved the problem. It took a little longer than expected, but very pleased with the outcome. Thank you.

They were so friendly and helpful, they even returned our car home to us as I had a cardiac arrest over Christmas and unable to drive.

Professional and friendly service.
I needed camera calibration for a new wing mirror which was proving difficult. For a job that probably wasnt worth much to the garage they kept going trying various options until it was fixed, highly recommended.

Unbelievably good service. We went there following recommendations. They couldn't have been more helpful - sorted out our Vito for a really reasonable charge. The chief tecchie spent a long time explaining everything when they handed it back. From now on they will be our first port of call. 100% trustworthy.

I am so pleased that I contacted John Haynes Mercedes, my SLK 200 was giving me a little cause for concern, and without writing an essay on what it was, and what was done etc. I can honestly say I was blown away by the help and the skill in which they fixed my car.
And to cap it all the courtesy car had half a tank of petrol, unlike other garages who provide a car with just enough to get to the next petrol supplier.

I'm so pleased I read some posts about independent Mercedes dealers.
Due to these I hunted out one of my local independent dealer and promptly chose John Haynes.
Having had an engine management light on and being advised by Mercedes call out breakdown recovery of faulty Nox sensor issue.
The customer service and dedication I received from the service manager was phenomenal.
I will now look no further for care and service for both myself and my vehicle.

Fantastic customer experience. My Mercedes developed a fault while on holiday in the area. Despite being fully booked they look at the car to check it was OK to drive. As it wasnt I was provided phone numbers of other garages in the area to try. They even filled up the washer bottle, all for no charge. Thanks to Michael for a great experience.

Since finding John Haynes Mercedes I have found there service exceptional. They take the time to explain the issues and when I had an urgent issue they dealt with it very promptly.. I highly recommend.

Mercedes S320cdi. Automatic transmission fluid, filter and gasket change. David (head of service department) super efficient. What a breath of fresh air John Haynes Mercedes are. Excellent parts department I regularly use, and expert advise on all things mercedes.

I initially instructed J. Haynes to carry out a complete inspection and report on our fundamentally sound, but mechanically tired Mercedes 280SL. The report was extremely thorough and Simon Haynes was happy to answer my questions and discuss ways forward. We have had most of the work carried out in two phases, primarily - (1) fuel injection and tuning, and (2) suspension, steering & braking, plus a number of other minor works to improve the car.

An itemised quote for labour and parts was provided for all work, and parts were ordered and paid for in advance of taking the car in. This meant that the works were carried out very quickly and efficiently.

The car now runs and drives beautifully.

The filter of the fuel pump was damaged. Parts from it came in the fuel pump and destroyed it. Mr. Haynes and his Team helped us very much und built from two defect pumps a new working one, so that we can continue our holidays. John Haynes Mercedes completed the annual service on my 2015 E350 saloon. As per normal, David and the team delivered again. Excellent price but far more importantly, the service is impeccable. Dropped the car off, left for the day, job done and the car was valeted prior to collection. Puts most MB Main Dealers to shame. My car, Mercedes A150 needed automatic gear box service. I was pleased with the service booking, quality of service and cost. A courtesy car was also provided for me to get on with my day. My first time there. I fully endorse this garage.

I have been to John Haynes for a few jobs on my 2009 SLK from a service to a major drop-the-sub-frame repair. I have always found them precise in explaining the work required and associated costs. After work has been completed they have only charged for the actual time taken, not the workshop estimate. So five stars without hesitation. Excellent service and in my experience quality workmanship by knowledgeable staff.

Based on my dealing with them (for a replacement wear & part) they were friendly, reasonably priced, efficient and honest. I'll definitely return when needed.

I had an Engine Management light come up on the dashboard of a CLK and contacted the Service Department at John Haynes, they said to bring the car straight around. I had never taken my car to them before but they welcomed me with a cup of coffee and within half an hour the fault had been diagnosed and repaired. I will definitely be a regular customer from now on.

Brilliant team, always do their best to help and never try to rip you off, unlike main dealers and shady back street garages.

John Haynes have maintained two Mercedes for me both 'S' class for probably the last 8 years. Previously i have been going to a main dealer but frankly I found them expensive, and more importantly, uninterested.
I was recommended to JH by a colleague and have always found them to interested, highly competent and sensibly priced. I recently bought an S600 (not from them) and the Service team (David) were incredibly helpful in guiding me through the issues to look out for. I can not recommend them too highly to anyone with an 'out of warranty' Mercedes.

I have had my car repaired and serviced here for several years. I am always more than happy with the work carried out, and customer service given by David.
They may not be the cheapest form of servicing, but you know your Mercedes is in very safe hands. You will also get a very quick diagnostic as they know these cars inside out, which could save you pounds elsewhere!
