At Blackshaws we are proud of our heritage. There has been a family-owned Blackshaws business in Alnwick, Northumberland for over 100 years. Here is the story of how our company was first established and how it has grown and developed over the years. Shortly after the end of the First World War and back in the days when the horse and carriage was still the most common form of transport, Blackshaws was one of the first places in Northumberland where you could go to buy an 'automobile' (a vehicle that moved itself rather than being pushed or pulled by an animal or other vehicle).

Superb service with Ross all question s answered and polite felt like he just wanted me Too get the right car for my requirements. I will be using again when I'm ready to change In the future. The vehicle was supplied through Motability - Ross made all of the arrangements, even to extending the cover on my previous vehicle when our new one was delayed.
