The Hodgson Company started life way back in 1959 when founder Les Hodgson took over a bankrupt filling station in Seghill ,Northumberland - working long and hard hours he built the business back up and with a strong and loyal customer base he attracted the SAAB franchise in the early 1960's which he ran until 1975 when Mitsubishi Colt was taken on and went on to be the best selling dealer nationwide for several years, in 1987 after a short spell with both Hyundai and Isuzu the switch was made to Mazda Cars.
