St Clair Motor Company is the longest established garage in Kirkcaldy. It was taken over in 1963 by the Robertson family who currently still run the garage. We were a Hillman agency back then amongst others. In 1964 we became main dealers for Saab and DAF, although DAF was lost when Volvo bought them over. We also took on Triumph in 1965 but again lost them as they were bought over by British Leyland.
